Job Scope: As a Specialist Thermal Systems Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and testing of pumps for liquid cooling products, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Your expertise in hydraulic circuits, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics will be instrumental in maximising system efficiency and minimising energy consumption. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate pump systems into liquid cooling solutions, ensuring seamless functionality and alignment with market needs and production requirements. ️⃣Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and testing of pumps for liquid cooling products, ensuring optimal performance and reliability Develop and refine hydraulic circuits to maximise system efficiency and minimise energy consumption Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate pump systems into liquid cooling solutions, ensuring seamless functionality Conduct detailed validation and performance testing for pumps and hydraulic systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions Drive continuous improvement by exploring emerging technologies, materials, and methodologies to enhance product capabilities Prepare detailed engineering documentation, including design specifications, test results, and operational guidelines Work closely with R&D, product management, and manufacturing teams to ensure product alignment with market needs and production requirements. ✅Requirements: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in pump design, development, and testing, ideally within liquid cooling or HVAC applications. Strong knowledge of hydraulic circuits, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics. Hands-on experience with validation methods and performance testing for pumps and hydraulic systems. Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools (e.g., CFD). Experience with thermal design software such as Refprop, Icepak, Flotherm, or equivalent analysis package Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials used in pump and hydraulic system production. Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mindset. Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve and prevent a wide range of problems quickly and logically Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional, global team environment.
