1:1 Teaching Assistant – English & Maths – Off-Site Support We are looking for a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide off-site support in English and Maths for students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This role involves working with learners who require additional academic and emotional support outside of the school environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualised support in English and Maths to students with SEMH needs. Use creative and adaptable teaching strategies to engage students who may struggle with traditional learning methods. Build positive, trusting relationships to boost confidence and motivation. Help students develop coping strategies, resilience, and emotional regulation alongside academic progress. Work closely with the school to ensure a consistent and supportive approach. Requirements: Experience working with students with SEMH needs, SEN, or behavioural challenges. comfortable delivering the English and Maths curriculum. Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm A valid driving licence and access to a car (as support is delivered off-site).
