Job Description
We are seeking a Tax Administrator to provide full administrative support to the Compliance Hub tax team, ensuring client satisfaction through direct contact with clients, and other operational colleagues, while adhering to professional standards.
The role offers flexibility around working hours and location for the right candidate.
As a Tax Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
* Work closely with the team to deliver excellent client outcomes.
* Manage the incoming and outgoing post process and upload documents to our document management system.
* Assist in the creation and maintenance of client records on our tax software.
* Support the team in financial management, including raising invoices, and WIP and debtor management.
* Monitor tax return submissions.
* Upload document approvals to our Practice Gateway system.
* Assist in the payment reminder process.
* Responsibility for new client take on, lost client processes, and ongoing AML remediation.
* Administering the HMRC Enquiry Service for clients within the Compliance Hub.
* General administrative support as required, to include mail merges, and ad-hoc projects as they arise
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should:
* Proven experience working in the professional services industry, ideally with a tax background.
* A strong ethic of client service.
* Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise work.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, influencing and organisational skills.
* Ability to use judgement and reasoning to propose solutions to problems.
