The Company: We are working with a growing Regional Building Contractor who have grown consistently over the last few years and are capable of taking on construction projects valued up to £15 Million for a varied client base which are almost exclusively based in the North West of England. They are privately owned, profitable and are active in several market sectors including; education, healthcare, extra care, residential, commercial and industrial. They secure work through several key regional procurement frameworks and good relationships with private clients. The Role: This role reports in to an experienced Operations Manager and sits alongside a team of Contracts Managers who manage the projects between them. You will typically oversee 3-5 projects and guide schemes through preconstruction doing logistics, planning, programming etc. prior to making sure projects are built safely, on time and to budget. You: To be successful in this role it’s likely that you will have worked for a similar regional building contractor as a Contracts Manager. They would also like to speak with experienced Project Managers who are ready to take the next step in their careers by moving into a Contracts Management role. They can provide great guidance and support for this and have previously promoted and developed their own Project Managers into Contract Managers. You will need to be able to commute to their offices and sites so will likely live in the North West of England.
