We are looking for a certified Salesforce Administrator to join a growing organisation in a newly created role.
My client, a national organisation and a market leader in their field have recently implemented Salesforce and are now looking for a certified Salesforce Administrator to work closely with the Head of IT to enhance the capabilities of the IT department, supporting Sales, Operations, and other head office functions. The role involves both hands on Salesforce administration and first line support for internal and remote teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the daily administration of the Salesforce platform, ensuring stability and smooth operations.
* Develop and update features within Salesforce to meet evolving business needs.
* Provide comprehensive support to sales, operations, and support teams, addressing technical queries and operational requirements.
* Create and maintain reports and dashboards, ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) are readily accessible for senior management.
* Conduct proactive problem and issue management to identify and resolve Salesforce-related challenges.
* Supporting integration of Salesforce with Sage 200 and Trustpilot to ensure seamless data flow and enhanced functionality.
* Provide ongoing training and guidance to users, promoting best practices and optimising platform use.
* Offer support for contractors using Salesforce Field Service, ensuring system effectiveness and field accessibility.
* Address ad-hoc requests from various departments, adapting Salesforce functionality to meet unique requirements.
Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator with hands-on Salesforce configuration and support.
* Salesforce Advanced Administrator certification (essential), Salesforce Data Architect certification (beneficial but not essential).
* Proficiency in Apex coding, with experience in creating and adapting custom forms.
* Salesforce Field Service experience configuration, adaptation, troubleshooting and development.
* Experience with Salesforce configuration, including reports, custom flows, custom objects, and page layouts.
* Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to effectively support non-technical users.
* Previous experience in a first-line IT support role, with familiarity in supporting Microsoft applications.
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks independently.
* Collaborative mindset with the self-motivation to complete tasks independently and contribute positively to the team.
* Methodical and concise approach to troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
