Purpose of the Role Join the Aftersales- Service Operations team as the Diagnostic & Digital Services Program Engineer where you'll be responsible for the consideration and implementation of Aftersales serviceability relative to diagnostics, software updates and digital services within Bentley product line programs. The major objective is to be an advocate for processes, systems, vehicle networks and technologies to be developed in order to achieve efficient and comprehensive diagnostics, software updates and digital service support from first market entry. You will play a pivotal role in driving customer satisfaction and providing our retailer network with a best in class support service. Reporting into the Serviceability & Strategy Manager, your main responsibilities include; Act as the key liaison and influencer within Bentley vehicle project teams to ensure all diagnostic and connected car serviceability requirements are considered by the business for relevant PEP (Product Emergence Processes) gateways Responsible for directing the Bentley Aftersales diagnostics team to the use of QS environments for Software Version Management (SVM) to ensure that diagnostics and SVM processes can be tested alongside pre series to enhance software update management processes Interface directly with VW Group organisations and Aftersales/Quality counterparts, as well as Bentley internal departments and stakeholders, on all topics relevant to digital services and technologies relevant to customer vehicle experience and serviceability Responsible for inclusion of cyber security or software update legislative requirements within Bentley service diagnostic programs and wider business as appropriate Lead Aftersales with regards to the identification of connected car requirements for future vehicle projects and portfolio. Identify key areas to enhance support channels and implement improvements internally and externally in the Global Retailer Network Responsible for all pre series vehicle requirements, availability and maintenance to support Aftersales technical publications About The Team The Aftersales department supports the global retailer network and from handover of the vehicle, it plays a significant role in helping to sustain the ownership experience. This opportunity is in the Serviceability & Strategy team within Service Operations, responsible for Vehicle diagnostic, Workshop Information and Parts Catalogue. The service operations department, the core role of the department is to take vehicle design and create a clear set of processes and procedure to support our global retailer network, we also monitor vehicles in the field to provide early warning of customer concerns and support with all problem resolutions. The all areas within the team take the vehicle project design and develop the three key area to support of retailer network in being able to support, diagnose and repair vehicles in the field this must be completed to a high standard and in multiple languages for all global markets.
