We have a new opportunity for a BI Developer to join our IT Department on a contract basis. The contract will run for 12 weeks and will require 2 days a week on site at our Deeside Head Office. The contractor will support our Central Services Department in tracking energy usage for central services. The deadline for applications is 20th January 2025. The Data Warehouse has become a pivotal part of business decision making and the provision of BI through modern platforms is key to this success. The roadmap is an exciting mixture of greenfield projects and continuous improvement, upgrading our existing estate of reports to the latest technologies and architecture and onboarding new data sources to provision insights into business performance. There’s a wealth of experience within the team and there’s always someone willing to offer their support and knowledge. The Data & BI team form part of a larger team consisting of a number of full stack application development squads. In this role, you can expect to Use the latest BI technology to build quality and innovative software solutions. Work closely with your agile squad of developers, BA’s and testers to collaborate on design Build greenfield, extend, or enhance existing functionality. Follow our agile way of working by attending stand-up’s, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and design and planning sessions. Work with the latest infrastructure offered by Microsoft Azure to implement your solutions, utilising CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code. Mentor and coach less experienced developers. Thoroughly document design and implementation decisions. You should apply if You have extensive experience delivering BI to an enterprise organisation.
