With 16 production sites and 9 R&D centers, we support over 1,500 customers worldwide Reference 2024-1405 Job Family / Sub-family Industrial - Engineering Contract type Permanent Job title E&I Project Supervisor Position Context: Reporting to the Project & Engineering Manager Main tasks : • Design LV electrical distribution systems • Contribute to the design of instrumentation, control systems and communications systems • Support the design of Safety Instrumented Systems • Prepare essential project documentation, including specifications, datasheets, cable calculations, schedules and drawings • Review and verify manufacturer documents to ensure compliance with project standards • Supervise the installation of instrumentation, LV electrical distribution systems and control systems • Commission instrumentation, LV electrical distribution systems and control systems Required skills : • Proven experience working on small-to-mid scale construction projects in a Design Engineer capacity, particularly in Electrical, Control and Instrumentation • Competency validation and certification for working in and the design requirements for explosive atmospheres, such as CompEx. • Knowledge of Safety Instrumented Systems • Familiar with safe working practices and procedures required of hazardous environments. • Confidence in taking the lead on designs and calculations • A collaborative mindset, working closely with other project team members to deliver cost-effective, high quality design solutions • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Teams and SharePoint • Strong communication skills • A strong understanding of industry codes of practice and regulations • Ideally, experience across a broad range of industries, including chemicals and power distribution Job location United Kingdom, England, Billingham
