Primary Care Network (PCN) Administrator

This role is to provide administrative support to Anfield and Everton PCN, carrying out a variety of functions to enable the smooth running of the organization.
A large part of the role will be to provide administrative support to the ARRS Team (comprised of paramedics, first contact physiotherapists, occupational therapists, care coordinators, social prescribers, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, a dietician and a mental health practitioner).
You will also be responsible for communications between the PCN and practices and organising events, such as those which form part of the reducing inequalities agenda.
Anfield and Everton PCN is comprised of five practices and the ARRS Team, and has a can-do attitude to care delivery and a collaborative ethos between members.
We are looking for a motivated and ambitious individual, with a passion for administrative excellence and an understanding of how PCNs and general practice operate.
Main duties of the job
Your main duties will be to:
1. Assist in organizing and preparing meetings, including minute-taking, scheduling, and distribution of materials.
2. Maintain up-to-date records and databases for the PCN, including training records, extended access and Saturday rotas and associated recording on EMIS, and regular and occasional Team and associated meetings.
3. Maintain PCN registers e.g. assets and databases e.g. distribution lists related to the PCN services.
4. Manage internal communications within the network, under the direction of the PCN Manager, and ensure timely dissemination and collation of information.
5. Assist with the planning and implementation of PCN inequalities initiatives and projects.
6. Support the coordination of services and events, such as clinics or patient outreach events.

Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support:
1. Provide administrative support to the PCN manager and Health Inequalities Lead Coordinator.
2. Assist in organizing and preparing meetings, including minute-taking, scheduling, and distribution of materials.
3. Maintain up-to-date records and databases for the PCN, including training records, extended access and Saturday rotas and associated recording on EMIS, and regular and occasional Team and associated meetings.
Data Management:
1. Ensure accurate and timely receipt and recording of strategic returns data.
2. Maintain PCN registers e.g. assets and databases e.g. distribution lists related to the PCN services.
3. Generate reports and analyze data to support decision-making and performance monitoring.
Communication:
1. Act as a point of contact for PCN staff and external stakeholders.
2. Manage internal communications within the network, under the direction of the PCN Manager, and ensure timely dissemination and collation of information.
3. Liaise with other healthcare providers, local authorities, and organizations as required.
Project Support:
1. Assist with the planning and implementation of PCN inequalities initiatives and projects.
2. Support the coordination of services and events, such as clinics or patient outreach events.
3. Support the PCN Manager with the tracking of project progress and ensure deadlines and targets are met.

Qualifications
* Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a PCN, or a similar field.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other administrative tools.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
* Ability to manage difficult situations.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Experience working within a Primary Care Network or healthcare setting.
* Knowledge of healthcare systems, data protection laws, and NHS structures.
* Basic understanding of project management.
