Your new role at NewDay
As a Senior Copywriter at NewDay, you’ll become a real expert in our products, their nuances, the market and its regulatory elements. You’ll know the right thing to say and how to say it!
You’ll Deliver
* Excellent copy across brand, customer and performance channels
* Handing and updating tone of voice documents in accordance with brand refreshes, audience insights and research
* Outstanding creative output, with comprehensive end to end considerations for messaging
* Working closely with communication planners to build messaging hierarchies and matrices
* Collaborating with designers on ideating concepts that tackle customer problems
* Updating suite of customer comms to improve service messaging
* Elevating customer experiences, with comprehensive E2E considerations for messaging
What you’ll bring
We need knowledge, experience + expertise in:
* Delivering clear, persuasive and engaging copy, fit for channel, brand and audience. Experience of writing copy across the full marketing funnel and reflecting the objectives of different channels in the marketing mix
* A creative problem solver - you’ll work in collaboration with a designer to come up with innovative concepts and bring ideas to life
* Knowledge of the legal, regulatory and customer responsibilities a financial services company holds and how that impacts communications
* A strong communicator who loves working as part of a team, you’ll be naturally collaborative. You’ll be able to work across multiple projects at once, and communicating progress.
And would love you to know or learn:
* Performance led messaging optimisation- for example subject line testing or dynamic content
* An understanding of customer research and user testing
* A curiosity about tech and AI
* Specific industry copy qualifications (eg Plain Numbers or Consumer Duty)
* An understanding of service messaging, UX copywriting and copy for small digital formats
