We are currently working with a manufacturing company in North Cambridge who are looking to hire a Supply Chain Planner.
The team are looking for someone who has previous planning experience from working within a manufacturing background who would be able to hit the ground running with the position.
The role is a full-time, permanent position including an early finish on a Friday!
Typical duties would include:
* Convert planned orders into production orders to ensure timely fulfilment of customer requests
* Monitor shortage reports and advise the purchasing team of any shortages to maintain adequate stock levels.
* Assist with stock takes
* Working closely with the production team regarding outstanding customer orders.
* Provide support to customers regarding their orders and inquiries.
The successful candidate:
* Previous experience in planning, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
* Previous experience using SAP or similar MRP systems.
* Able to communicate effectively with others, both verbally and in writing.
* Proficient in the use of IT software, including Microsoft Excel.
* Able to work well within a fast-paced team environment.
