About your next employer
You will be joining the expanding procurement team. The purpose of the role is resource suppliers, negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services. This role requires strong negotiation skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to source goods and services as efficiently as possible, to support the needs of the overall business.
What you'll do
8. Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimise sourcing and supplier selection
9. Identify potential suppliers, conduct supplier evaluations, and negotiate prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business
10. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvement within the procurement
11. Liasing with other departments e.g., production, operations, and finance to align procurement activities with business needs
12. Procure goods, materials, and services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery
13. Work with the Head of Procurement in managing supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and quality standards, to enable
14. Work closely with others in the procurement function and review opportunities for continuous improvement and business
15. Extending supplier networking by building, maintaining, and managing supplier
16. Provide analysis / reports on costs for both new and existing
17. Compile data relating supplier performance and
18. Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure adequate stock levels wile minimising carrying
19. Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on purchasing processes, including communication and negotiation of resolution to any supply problems, which may impact the business.

About you
Essential:
24. 2+ years of experience in procurement, or a supply chain role.
25. Strong negotiation and contract management skills
26. Excellent communication and interpersonal
27. Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office
28. Analytical thinking and problem-solving
29. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the procurement
30. Willingness to be flexible to suit business
31. Good organisational and time management skills, with ability to prioritise a busy work schedule
Desirable:
32. Driven individual with experience working in procurement function.
33. Knowledge of procurement processes with strong attention to
34. Experience working within manufacturing
35. Product knowledge of precast concrete
