WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a passionate and outgoing individual to join our Audience Engagement Team and help us achieve our mission. The Audience Engagement Team work hard to ensure our portfolio of events are relevant, beneficial, and well-attended by key audience members within the industries we serve. As an Audience Engagement Assistant, you will support the team in promoting, organising and developing our events by completing key administrative work, directly communicating with key audience members and nurturing relationships within the appropriate industries. You will also be pivotal in ensuring the success of our portfolio of B2B Speed Networking Sessions alongside the team.
You will support our entire portfolio of events and products, including Cruise Ship Interiors Design Expo Americas, Cruise Ship Interiors Design Expo Europe, Cruise Xperience Innovation Summit, CSI+ Membership Platform, Sustainable Design Summit, and Hotel & Resort Design South.
This position is perfect for someone who has meticulous attention to detail, is outgoing and is looking for a career in an environment that encourages a flexible and innovative approach to event organising.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop relationships with key audience members via telephone campaigns.
* Utilising these relationships to gain commitment to events & networking programmes.
* Assisting in the development of VIP Programmes within our portfolio of events.
* Researching and staying informed within the industries we serve.
* Completing all associated administrative duties and ensuring our database is kept up to date.
* Assisting in the organisation and execution of our B2B Speed Networking events.
* Supporting the Audience Engagement Team with a wide range of roles, providing you with exposure to all areas of the department.
* There will be times throughout the year that the Audience Engagement Team work in-line with American and European time zones.
The ideal candidate:
* Experienced in proactive client engagement via telephone campaigns.
* A record of achieving targets and objectives.
* A can-do, solutions-focused approach to overcoming challenges.
* The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* An understanding of individual contribution towards team goals.
* Strong written and oral communication skills.
Familiarity with CRM platforms would be ideal but not essential.
