The Role – Technical Delivery Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Technology department as Technical Delivery Manager. The successful candidate will manage and oversee the delivery of built technical solutions and projects, ensuring they are aligned to the Technical Framework and Governance, and remain updated and fit for purpose. The Technical Delivery Manager will work with the Head of Technical Delivery in collaborating with the organisation, Technical Delivery and Change Delivery teams, and third-party development resources to deliver the broader organisational strategy and BAU.
This is a full-time position working 35 hours per week, usually working Monday - Friday.
There may be the requirement to work at R&A events throughout the year, which may include working weekends.

* Degree level qualification or equivalent experience.
* In-depth knowledge of digital technologies and tools.
* A strong understanding of solution architecture, design principles, and best practices.
* Effective communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Decision-making skills to guide the team through complex technical challenges.
* Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical issues efficiently.
* Understanding of business goals and how they align with technical decisions.
* Ability to make technical recommendations that contribute to the overall success of the project.
* Ability to inspire and motivate team members.
* Up to date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
About The R&A
