Reeson Education is collaborating with a dynamic mainstream school in Manchester (M4) to recruit a dedicated Learning Support Assistant. This full-time, long-term position offers the potential for a permanent contract, subject to mutual agreement.
Key Responsibilities of the Learning Support Assistant:
1. Provide group and one-to-one support within the school's resource provision, catering to students across various age groups.
2. Conduct targeted interventions to address specific learning needs.
3. Facilitate outdoor learning sessions, promoting engagement and practical skills.
4. Organize and supervise activities in sensory rooms to support sensory development.
5. Adapt teaching methods dynamically to meet the evolving needs of students, ensuring an inclusive and effective learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience Required for the Learning Support Assistant:
1. Prior experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar educational support role is essential.
2. Demonstrated ability to work flexibly and adaptively, modifying approaches as needed to enhance student learning outcomes.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
4. A genuine passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs, fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
