My client is a Main Car Dealership in Haywards Heath, they are currently looking for a Part-Time Parts Advisor
OBJECTIVES AND KEY TASKS:
1. To receive and identify stock and check goods from suppliers.
2. To ensure accurate identification of customer’s needs by means of parts catalogues and computer lists using Company and manufacturer systems.
3. To assist all dealership staff in parts identification and, if required, replacements.
4. To ensure that stock is only issued in accordance with policy regarding payment or charge.
5. To correctly locate items in warehouse.
6. To work as part of a team to achieve the target sales set.
7. To communicate clearly and politely both in person and on the telephone.
8. To attend manufacturers and Company Training Courses and familiarise with Office IT equipment and procedures.
9. To conduct all transactions with customers with the utmost courtesy.
10. To maintain a clean and tidy working environment.
11. To reconcile takings daily.
Other duties as required as authorised, i.e. parts delivery, warehouse duties.
12. To inform Retail and Trade customers at the earliest opportunity of any delay when parts ordered.
13. To ensure the security of company property.
14. To maintain and comply with company regulations, specialist procedures and consumer legislation.
15. Implementation of discount structure as applicable.
16. To guard against unauthorised withdrawal from stock.
17. To inform Stock Control of any stock discrepancies at all times.
18. To care for stock control, plant and record systems.
ADMINISTRATION:
19. To ensure all paperwork, documentation and requisitions are properly recorded within the stock control, system.
20. To ensure that all credit sales are made to an authorised signatory or approved account.
21. To keep all parts catalogues, manufacturers lists, etc updated and tidy in either hard copy or on PC
COMMUNICATION:
22. To maintain good communications with all staff, Customers and Branches.
23. Maintain close relationships with the manufacturers, suppliers, statutory representatives and all other business related contacts.
24. To advise the Branch Manager and managers on all related matters of importance.
25. To ensure your supervisor is kept aware of stock movement.
26. To notify the Supervisor of any difference noted when inspecting incoming goods.
27. To maintain good helpful relationships with all customers and their representatives.
28. To assist in any sales marketing activity as required.
29. To ensure all transactions take place according to dealership policy.
30. To ensure security of all cash and cheques received.
31. All goods in checked for conformity with orders/ delivery notes.
Salary: £14,950

Working Hours: 8:00am to 1:00pm Monday to Friday, No Weekend
