Position: Long-term Teaching Assistant (TA) Location: Ampthill, Bedfordshire Working Days: 4 days a week About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our team at a secondary school in Ampthill, Bedfordshire. This long-term role involves supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs as well as Special Educational Needs (SEN). The ideal candidate will have prior experience working as a TA in the UK, either in primary or secondary schools. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to students with SEMH and SEN. Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. Collaborate with teachers and other staff to ensure the best outcomes for students. Monitor and report on student progress. Requirements: Previous experience as a TA in UK schools (primary or secondary). Understanding of SEMH and SEN. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
