SEMH Learning Support Assistant
Location: Leicester (LE67)
Contract: Long-term to permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am- 4:30pm
Start Date: 28th April onwards
Preferred Experience: Working with young people with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs. A background in outdoor education, coaching, or therapeutic support is beneficial but not essential.

Long Term Futures is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work in a specialist SEMH school catering to students aged 6-17 with SEMH, Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), and additional learning needs. This nurturing and inclusive school takes a holistic and therapeutic approach, incorporating outdoor learning, sports, and practical skills to help students succeed academically and personally.
Key Duties:
Deliver individual and small group support to students with SEMH needs, ensuring they feel engaged and valued.
Help students with emotional regulation, behaviour management, and social interaction through tailored interventions.
Assist with the school's enrichment programmes, including outdoor learning and practical activities, to enhance student engagement.
