Job overview
We are recruiting Band 5 Staff Nurses for Lynfield Mount Hospital & Airedale Centre for Mental Health.

A ‘Welcome’ Payment of £1000 for new employees starting in a permanent band 5 nurse role - 50% to be paid on appointment and 50% after 6 months in post.
All wards are supported by a full multi-disciplinary team (MDT) including dedicated Psychology and Occupational therapy staff, Consultant Psychiatrist, and local GP.
As a Staff Nurse on our ward, you will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care to patients and will hold delegated responsibility for management of the ward on a shift basis including supervision of support staff.

Person specification
Qualifications
* Registered Mental Nursing Certificate (RMN) or Registered Nurse Learning Disabilities (RNLD)
* Current Registration on part 3 or part 13 of NMC register
* ENB 998 or other teaching certificate.
* Accredited counselling course or equivalent.
Training
* Willingness to undergo education and training for both practice and service need.
* Willingness to work towards professional and performance objectives.
* Contribute to education/training of others.
Experience
* Experience of working in a mental health setting either substantively or through placement.
* Minimum of 6 months post basic experience in Mental Health (achieved by prospective duty on an acute mental health ward).
