Job description
Are you ready to step into a Project Support Officer role that will make a tangible difference to Defence? Defence Digital is seeking a dedicated Project Support Officer to join our dynamic team and contribute to driving and supporting project outputs. As a Project Support Officer, you will support a number of projects that are vital to UK's Defence. This particular role will be varied, calling on a range of Project Management skills.
Responsibilities:
* Provide day-to-day support to the Defence Digital project teams delivering capabilities to RAF High Wycombe.
* Monitor and record project progress, identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
* Ensure effective change management processes are in place to agree on and document changes to deliverables.
* Identify and establish appropriate project controls.
* Provide day-to-day support the operational users of the capabilities delivered by Defence Digital.
Person specification
We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and organised individual with strong communication skills. You should be able to work well under pressure and confidently navigate complex challenges to drive projects to successful completion.

Please note that due to security and information access restrictions, this role is only open to a Sole UK British National. Due to the nature of this role and the IT systems you will be required to use on a regular basis this role is not suitable for hybrid working. There will be a requirement for daily attendance in office. The successful candidate is required to carry out all their duties from a UK location and cannot do so from an overseas location at any time.
Qualifications
Candidates will hold an entry level Project Delivery qualification e.g. the APM Project Fundamentals Qualification or another Foundation Level Qualification, e.g. Managing Successful Programmes Qualification. Or will be willing to gain a Project Delivery qualification within 12 months of taking up the post.
Candidates will be expected to provide documentary evidence of achievement if called forward for interview. Equivalent qualifications will be considered. Please detail in your supporting statement what equivalent qualifications you hold. Please note all qualifications need to be in date.
