Job Description Head Chef - Care Home Part-time or full-time will be considered Hours: £16 per hour Our client is looking for a skilled and experienced Head Chef to join their team and oversee the kitchen operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, nutritious, and delicious meals for the residents in a care home environment. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for culinary excellence, excellent leadership abilities, and the capacity to foster a positive and inclusive work environment. What We’re Looking For Proven expertise as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a similar setting. Culinary degree or relevant certification. Knowledge of nutrition, dietary requirements, and food safety regulations. Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with other departments in the care home. Familiarity with health and safety regulations and procedures. Capability to train and supervise kitchen staff. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
