Job Description
We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our large consultancy clients for an experienced Document Controller / Contract Administrator to support all functions of the operational side of their business.\n\nContract is running till 2028 \n\nKey responsibilities \n- Assist with the preparation and management of all pre-construction documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards. \n- Organise and maintain document control systems for project files, specifications, drawings, and other related documents. \n- Ensure timely submission and tracking of documents \n- Review, update, and maintain project filing systems, ensuring that all documentation is up-to-date and readily accessible.
\n- Support the team in managing project schedules, ensuring that deadlines are met. \n- Ensure adherence to document control procedures and contribute to continuous improvement of internal processes. \n- Assist with ad-hoc administrative tasks related to project management and pre-construction activities.\n\nKey Requirements: \n- BPSS/SC Clearance required (process provided) \n- Working near Reading, Berkshire so should be based within a local commuter distance from the client's location and their Reading office \n- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
\n- Ability to work independently and use initiative, while also being a supportive team player. \n- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. \n- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
\n- Previous experience in a document control or administrative role is advantageous, but not essential. \n- Experience working and managing Common Data Environments (CDE) such as ASITE, 4projects. \n- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow in the role.
\n- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. \n- Knowledge of document management systems or software.\n\nIf interested / to find out further information please apply
