You will step in to cover classes as needed, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining a positive classroom environment. Key Responsibilities of Supply Teacher Deliver engaging and effective lessons across a range of subjects to students aged 11-16. Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students. Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment. Assess and monitor students' progress, providing feedback to students and staff. Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to students' education. Foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom atmosphere where students feel valued and supported. Maintain accurate records of students' attendance and progress. Requirements for Supply Teacher Prior experience in a similar role is essential, demonstrating an understanding of the unique challenges and needs of students. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues. Ability to establish trust and rapport with all members of the school community. Demonstrate a commitment to helping students by exhibiting patience and empathy in your interactions. Relevant qualifications or training in education (desirable but not essential).
