This role: To be responsible for the overall ownership 33 - 132kV switchgear and primary substation projects from award to completion for various renewable technologies. The Major Project Manager will be a key point of contact and will work closely with the Commercial, Design and Supply Chain departments to ensure our projects are delivered first time, every time against budget and in full.

You'll have a proven track record of:
* Delivering completed projects on time, routinely
* Working closely with internal and external stakeholders and clients
* Defining and embedding project control and governance
* Designing and maintaining accurate and current programs of work for the projects they deliver
* Providing project planning, milestone management, scope management, resource forecasting, financial management, and change management across the project portfolio
* Providing routine updates and reports at an operational and commercial level
* Overseeing project costs and ensuring finances are well managed
* Supporting the Commercial team with project feedback, recommendations, and lessons learned
* Delivering projects sustainably in consideration of competence, capability, and safety
* Taking decisions as and when required
* Attending site when necessary to troubleshoot or monitor quality
* Conducting audits
* Maximizing profitability for the business at all times
* Ensuring cross-programme dependencies are managed and the dependency log is accurately maintained
* Ensuring efficient change control methods and processes are utilized
Requirements
You’ll be a successful Major Projects Project Manager at Sinewave if you’re:
* Proficient in the use of Productivity and Collaboration Software such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, etc.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt communication styles
* Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to use own initiative as well as work collaboratively as part of a team
* Extensive Project Management experience, particularly within the electrical utility industry
* Project Management qualification (e.g. Prince 2, APM, PMI)
* Proven track record of effectively managing both projects and employees
* Competence in MS Project or equivalent Project Management software
* Understanding of the Project life cycle, from ownership to completion
* Project profit and loss forecasting and delivery
* Customer Management
* Ability to drive and deliver complex, multi-million-pound projects
* Excellent organization and coordination skills
Certifications / Qualifications
* Experience working for and ICP or DNO at EHV voltage levels (33-132kV)
* Full UK driving license (Maximum of 3 Penalty Points)
* Emergency first aid at work qualification
* Experience working alongside Design teams
* Experience working in the electrical industry
* Experience working tendering
* SMSTS
