### Description\n\n \n\n**About the Role** \n \nWe’re looking for a passionate leader to join us at our __ Bognor Regis Resort\nas part of our Buffets department as a Venue Manager.\n\n \n\nAs a Venue Manager, you’ll be vital in helping our guest’s create smiles –\ngetting stuck in to give them a great dining experience! You’ll be part of a\nbig team of people who are responsible for providing our guests with breakfast\nand dinner in our self service restaurants each day of their holiday. \n \nYou should enjoy developing people and be passionate about delivering\nexceptional experiences to guests by nurturing, training and coaching the team\nin a fun-filled environment.
\n \nYou will drive standards and have the ability to lead the team to excellence,\nincorporating all brand standards and Butlin’s way of working. \n \nReporting to the Senior Manager, you’ll enjoy the buzz of a busy environment\nand will drive your team to maintain high levels of hygiene and cleanliness. \n \n\nYou’ll have the ability to drive consistent brand standards whilst being guest\nobsessed and operating efficiently in everything you do.
The role will also\ninvolve analysing KPI’s, facilitating and monitoring all team training and\nadhering to food safety and health & safety policies.\n\n \nYou should have a real passion for leading by example and inspiring others to\ndeliver experiences that truly delight our guests. You should be an advocate\nfor your team’s fulfilment at work, ensuring that you are having regular 121s\nand PDP discussions to support their development and career with Butlin’s. \n \n\nAs with all roles at Butlin’s, no day will be the same and you will need to\nenjoy thinking on your feet, getting stuck in, and ensuring that our guest\nexperience is always your number one priority.
\n \nTypical working hours cover 40 hours per week, 5 days over 7 with a variety of\nshifts between 7am - 9pm with support across the wider department at times and\nwill including weekend, bank holidays and Christmas working.\n\n \n\n### KPIs\n\n \n\nWe are looking for an individual with prior experience in __ a volume catering\nand or food environment, with strong experience of being guest and customer-\nfacing and dealing with a range of queries and sometimes complaints directly._ \n \n_You should be passionate about leading and developing a team and supporting\npeople through regular 121s and coaching. \n \nDelivering an amazing experience to our guests is the most important part of\nthis role so you should be passionate about every interaction and should seek\nopportunities to improve this wherever possible. \n \nYou should have experience of managing rotas based on fluctuating guest\nvolumes, experience in working with multi-skilled team to support other areas\nof the business based on guest demand.
