Digital Technology Services (DTS) are looking for a core member of the leadership team for Cloud, Networks and Infrastructure (CNI) to provide a strategic lead for the area, and to be part of the extended leadership for DTS. Reporting to the Head of CNI Services, as Head of CNI (Networks & Operations), you will be responsible for an experienced team of around 20 staff consisting of Network Consultants, Network Engineers and an Operations team. You will also be responsible for supplier management for all Network and Operations suppliers, dealing with complex Cisco licensing, backup solutions suppliers, unified comms solutions and much more. This is an exciting time to join this area with several projects already underway, including a network refresh, the procurement of a new backup solution, reviewing Unified Comms and standardising monitoring of services across DTS. You will have the ability to offer input into the wider CNI and much more. This is a leadership role, so ideally you will have: extensive service/technical management and be looking to develop or expand your leadership experience to deliver an excellent service. experience of leading technical teams with a background of networking and service operations. experience working in a large and complex IT department, aligned to ITIL practices, ideally with Network, Telecommunication and Operations experience. experience of building strong working relationships with key senior stakeholders to enable future decision making and planning We offer a diverse range of benefits and opportunities to pursue a rewarding and fulfilling career in a supportive environment.
