GVC is working on behalf of a well-established veterinary practice in South Manchester, seeking an experienced and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join its progressive and friendly team. This is an excellent opportunity for a vet looking to work within a forward-thinking, multi-branch practice that prioritises high standards of patient care and professional development.
About the Practice
The practice operates across seven busy branches, offering a comprehensive range of services, supported by its own 24-hour Tier 3 hospital and an in-house multidisciplinary referral team.
The team here consists of 8 Veterinary Surgeons, 3 Clinical Directors with a variety of certificates, and 13 RVNs.
With a strong focus on clinical excellence, the practice provides a wide variety of cases to enhance clinical progression and professional growth.
Veterinary professionals working here benefit from advanced diagnostic and treatment facilities, including:
* CT scanner and visiting MRI scanner
* Doppler echocardiography and flexible/rigid endoscopy
* Direct radiography suites and high-quality ultrasound scanners
* Dental radiography, fluoroscopy, and electrocautery
* Laparoscopy and advanced anaesthesia equipment
The successful candidate will join a supportive and enthusiastic team, working in a collaborative environment where continued professional development is strongly encouraged. Some sole-charge responsibility may be required, so at least two years of experience is preferred.

Role & Work Schedule
* Four-day working week
* Weekend work on a fair rota basis, compensated with time in lieu
* No on-call responsibilities
* Some ad-hoc late evening work (5 pm – 11 pm) and weekend shifts on rotation

Salary
