A medical receptionist is the primary representative of our GP Practice. A medical receptionist will need to be capable of handling stressful situations at any given time in order to serve the patients.
We require someone with experience who can join our team and bring with them the above skills that will enhance the care we provide to our patients. Our patients are our forefront and we want them to have a positive experience when they access health care provided by the surgery.

Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for the general administrative and reception duties within the Practice and work with our established processes, policies and procedures to provide a comprehensive high-quality service and deal efficiently and courteously with patient enquiries.
Your regular duties in this role will include dealing with telephone, face-to-face and electronic enquiries, booking and/or amending patient appointments and home visits, contacting patients to provide information from the clinical team, and assisting patients to access our services and those available in the wider community.
About us
This is a small friendly practice with over 5300 patients. The practice is very busy serving mainly the community of the Great Wyrley Area.
We are made up of 2 GP partners - one male and one female.
We have 8 reception/administrators, 1 Practice Manager, and 1 Reception Manager.
We are part of a PCN so have access to Paramedic, Social Prescriber, Pharmacist, Pharmacist technician, care coordinator, dietician, and a social prescriber.
Managers and Primary GP have an open door policy which supports all the workforce throughout the day. Staff parking (though limited) is available. We are located within walking distance of local shops.

* Preferred GP experience but not essential - full training given
* Previous GP experience
Qualifications
* GCSE LEVEL 5/6
