Responsibilities
* Facility Management: Oversee the upkeep and maintenance of the buildings and grounds, ensuring they meet safety and health standards.
* Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement a maintenance schedule for all machinery and equipment on site.
* Project Management: Lead special projects related to facility upgrades or expansions, coordinating with other departments as necessary.
* Vendor Management: Manage relationships with contractors and service providers, ensuring work is completed to specification and on time.
* Budgeting: Develop and manage the budget for facilities and maintenance projects, including forecasting costs for planned maintenance and unexpected repairs.
* Safety Compliance: Ensure all facilities and maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations.
* Training: Provide training to staff on facilities and maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
* Emergency Planning: Develop and implement emergency procedures for the site.
* Reporting: Regularly report on the status of facilities and maintenance activities to senior management.
Your Magic Skills
* Degree in facilities management, engineering, or related field is desired but not essential.
* Proven experience as a project manager in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
* In-depth knowledge of F&M guidelines and practices.
* Excellent organizational and motivational skills.
* Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
About the Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to join our team. This is a contract role, where the successful candidate will specialise in Facilities and Maintenance (F&M).
