GSK is seeking a dedicated Process Monitoring Team Manager for our Barnard Castle site. The successful candidate will manage the Process Monitoring team (PM), to ensure the appropriate process monitoring schedule is undertaken and reported.
In this role you will...
* Ensure workload is scheduled appropriately across the team
* Provide support to the business unit sterile operations to ensure compliant operations and assessing and represent PM at business unit meetings
* To directly supervise or own any miscellaneous investigations (Deviations, Action/Alert excursions, Plant maintenance etc).
* Complete batch release activities and front environmental monitoring and sterility controls to internal and external auditors/inspectors
* To meet service levels within the business units, delivering results to agreed timelines and ensure new product introduction and product transfer activities are supported in the team and provide technical input
* To ensure that techniques and practices are maintained in line with current regulatory, validated requirements and industry best practices and to monitor and control the PM budgets within agree limits
Why you?
Basic Qualifications & Skills:
* HNC/HND in Microbiology/Biology/Applied Biology or equivalent experience.
* Strong experience in Pharmaceutical Microbiology
* Track record of coaching and mentoring others in technical areas
* Ability to motivate and organise others
* Effective communication and IT skills
* Exposure to other site functions
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
* Degree in Microbiology
