The IAM consultant's role is to support and enhance identity and access management within Handelsbanken. Their responsibilities include
* Provide specialist Identity and Access management (IAM) support to the Handelsbanken UK Transformation programme specifically how to design the new UK infrastructure and applications to best fit within the SHB identity framework as is today and the future roadmap.
* Be able to provide specialist advice in the area of privileged identity management and the tooling's associated with this area having implemented similar tooling in other large corporate institutions.
* Be very familiar with the necessary controls around identity in a regulated environment.
* Work very closely with the IAM team in Sweden to ensure that the right people have access to the right resources to resolve access issues.
* Assist with the day-to-day governance of the IAM systems output into the IAM dashboard.
* Involved in troubleshooting and resolving IAM issues for Privileged Access and IAM Architecture
* Participate and lead in IAM projects and initiatives.
* Work with internal customers, business analysts, and application teams to understand access requirements.
* Maintain documentation for the IAM program.
* Participate in IAM audits and review access control reports to identify potential risks.
* Update and maintain the IAM systems where required according to changes in the organization's business needs.
* Manage and coordinate activities for the JML process.

* Granting or denying access to company resources based on user role and privileges.
* Creating and managing user groups in the identity and access management system.
* Enforcing company policies and procedures related to identity and access management.
* Monitoring user activity in the identity and access management system - JML
* Reporting on identity and access management system activity.
* Identifying and addressing identity and access management issues.
* Working with the IAM team to resolve identity and access management problems.
* Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of identity and access management best practices.
* Documenting IAM processes and procedures.
* Maintaining IAM KPI dashboard
* Manage IAM architecture status through process mapping Collaborate with other IT groups to ensure defined security baselines are being leveraged and benchmarked.
* Operates in line with the Bank's Risk Management framework (including sub-frameworks) and relevant risk and compliance policies and procedures, ensuring appropriate and timely escalation of any concerns to their line manager.
