Senior Leadership & Talent Manager (Maternity Cover) Our Colleague Experience team is looking for an experienced Senior Leadership & Talent Manager on a 12 month fixed term contract. This role is critical in driving and implementing talent and leadership programmes & initiatives which ensure an inclusive and diverse culture across the organisation. About the Role Reporting into the Head of Colleague Experience, you will manage a team of 4 between Manager and Advisor level. Driving the delivery model for everything from early careers to executive development, you will make clear connections to the business’s direction. You will do this by creating new and innovative interventions which create a step change in our leadership strength, ensuring that their capability is to a level fit for now and the future. A large part of your role will be team management. You will act with a genuine desire to nurture and develop your team, effectively leading through change and creating an inclusive culture. You will engage and motivate through inspirational story-telling as you are emotionally self-aware, and with your performance coaching skills, you will love seeing others succeed. Your other responsibilities will include: Understanding business drivers and outcomes and use these to inform the Harrods approach to leadership development. Partnering HR and business leaders to identify leadership development needs and recommend solutions. Coaching leaders and their teams, and in partnership with HRBPs, act as their consultant regarding development activities. Designing & delivering a leadership framework and course curriculum aligned to our values and leadership expectations, ensuring they address business needs. Leading on the delivery of our coaching interventions in support of the evolution of our approach to performance management and a high-performance culture. Measuring engagement and usage of solutions to understand correlation and causality of change/business impact. Thinking and acting commercially to enable the delivery of leadership development activities in the most efficient way, contributing directly to growing the business through and with our people. About You You will have demonstrable experience in leading teams to deliver creative problem-solving across the leadership and learning agendas. You will be able to show evidence of user-led experience design work which embeds and sustains behaviour change and you will have managed budgets to deliver development programmes. You will also have: Experience in managing and coaching a team. Awareness of best practice approaches and a desire to explore these in support of leadership development innovation. Experience running a talent review process. Experience in executive coaching – coaching for Directors, and some Heads Of, with the support where necessary of external coaches. A coaching qualification is preferred. Excellent senior stakeholder management skills. Experience as a practitioner understanding of psychometric tools - Hogan certification would be an advantage. Experience in facilitating learning events, workshops, programmes for C-suite delegates.
