Role summary/purpose of job:
This role will lead the delivery of Technology Infrastructure for the Property Portfolio, with particular focus on the move and refurbishment of offices and the setup of any new locations. The Delivery Manager will be responsible for scoping, resourcing, and successful delivery of technology deliverables for Property projects.
Location Overview: Manchester

Function Overview: The IT function supports the technology services and change agenda for Freshfields. The Delivery function ensures that projects and product delivery is executed on time, to quality, and to cost.
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:
1. Apply programme and change management skills to drive delivery teams to achieve desired change and expected business benefits.
2. Scoping, articulating business outcomes, planning and designing assigned programmes of work, and implementing governance structures.
3. Travelling to sites to oversee progress and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
4. Developing a global standards strategy for future IT Property projects.
5. Managing dependencies and user impact/change adoption considerations across the programme.
6. Ensuring quality assurance and governance is applied to all aspects of the programme.
7. Partnering with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of the IT Property programme.
8. Managing stakeholders up to C-Suite/Managing Partner to ensure alignment and reporting progress.
9. Delivering quality products that enable identified business outcomes.
10. Working as part of a broader product team to deliver successful change.
11. Ensuring project teams are motivated and engaged, with clear accountabilities and objectives.
Key Requirements:
Essential:
1. Delivering technology programmes for Property projects.
2. Strong track record in scale technology programme delivery (£10m+).
3. Experience of managing teams and operational IT teams.
4. Experience of delivering change in a highly regulated environment.
5. Adept in risk management and problem-solving.
6. Track record of operating in environments with complex stakeholder engagement.
7. Ability to operate in a matrix and influence at all levels.
8. Excellent influencing and communication skills.
9. Technical knowledge of IT network infrastructure.
10. Understanding of services required to establish and maintain office platforms.
Desirable:
1. Experience in the Legal sector.
2. Understanding of RIBA project methodology.
3. Knowledge of core meeting room technologies.
