Are you ready to take on a dynamic role with a leading company in the meat processing industry? We are seeking a dedicated Export Administrator to join our Customs Clearance Team at Dunbia. As a prominent supplier of high-quality beef and lamb, Dunbia operates across the UK and Ireland, and we are looking for someone to help streamline our export processes.
Responsibilities
* Flexible working hours within a rota system
* A challenging but rewarding role, with no two days the same
* Training provided for customs documentation
The Role:
The Export Administrator will have a key role in our operations.
* Coordinate with sites and agents to schedule bookings within agreed timelines
* Gather, review, and submit necessary paperwork to customs agents
* Distribute received paperwork to sites and hauliers promptly
* Communicate deviations from timelines to relevant contacts
* Address and resolve queries from agents, sites, and hauliers
* Plan and schedule routes and loads with site and agent teams
* Assist in developing and communicating new SOPs and procedures
* Manage customs and veterinary invoicing administration
* Handle high volumes of emails and information efficiently
* Ensure accurate data processing for customs clearance
* Coordinate document control processes
* Timely communication of despatch and customs documentation
Qualifications
The Candidate:
We are looking for Export Coordinators who meet the following criteria:
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a fast-paced administrative role
* Ideally Export/Brexit experience, but not essential
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Quick learner, adaptable to change
* Proactive in resolving tasks and issues
* Fluent in English, both spoken and written
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, independently or as part of a team
* Organised with strong prioritisation skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
* Experience with ERP systems is beneficial
* Understanding of logistics, especially exports, is ideal
* Capable of accurate and timely data entry
* Experience with customs documentation is a plus
