We’re looking for a motivated Resident Doctor to provide cover for FY1, FY2, and ST1/2 doctors on a fixed-term assignment for 12 months. This is a great opportunity to gain experience across diverse clinical areas, including Trauma, Stroke, Research, Education, and more.

Your main Key Responsibilities include:
· Work as part of the ED team, fulfilling duties according to a full shift pattern and treating a wide spectrum of patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
· Actively participate in weekly departmental teaching, including simulation exercises, case discussions, and guideline presentations.
· Follow departmental and trust protocols, seeking senior clinical advice as needed.
· Contribute to the teaching and training of medical students, allied healthcare practitioners, and junior medical staff.
· Engage in clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement activities.
· Manage your own continuing professional development (CPD) with guidance from your allocated clinical and educational supervisor.
· Ensure compliance with trust-wide mandatory training requirements and professional standards.
· Maintain confidentiality and uphold the values of the North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust Staff Charter.
· Foster strong communication and teamwork with patients, GPs, and inpatient specialty colleagues.
