Yorktel are looking for a senior client director to join our expanding EMEA sales organisation. Spearheading new business acquisition activities for Yorktel’s product and services portfolio. Focus on identifying new growth markets and opportunities, managing the client sales journey from lead to close.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Strong individual contributor: Develop and execute on a new customer acquisition strategy to generate accelerated annual growth in revenue and bookings across mid-size to enterprise clients.
* Create and implement individual account plans to help move new account/opportunity through the sales cycle from identification/research to close including RFP response preparation and submission.
* Work cross-functionally with Customer Success and delivery teams, to complete the sales process, as required to drive revenue and bookings growth in targeted market/vertical.
* Develop and exercise a profound understanding of business dynamics within area of control, as a basis for informed business decision making.
* Attend conferences/network events and establish necessary partnerships to secure new business.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring exceptional service and client centricity.
* Supporting SVP of Sales to develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
* Collaborate with marketing and Product/Technical teams to develop sales collateral and materials, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
* Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify new opportunities. Use competitive intelligence in account planning and sales activities to develop counter strategies that will neutralize competitive influence on the customer's buying decisions.
* Work with customers and internal teams such as Sales Ops and Marketing to develop and deliver proposals/initiatives that meet customers’ and internal specific needs.
* You're a team player, happy to lead by example, and ready to throw yourself into our fast-paced start-up environment.
* Lead and coordinate contract negotiations for a successful close.
* Support the development of a healthy culture that retains key employees and encourages professional development.
Essential Skills required for this role:

* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Ability to understand the 'bigger picture' with clients and business drivers around collaboration solution implementation and service delivery.
* Ambitious & hungry individual keen to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Familiarity with a structured sales process methodology such as Value Selling or MEDDIC.
* Results-driven with a customer-focused mindset.
* Ability to develop and implement sales strategies.
* Willingness to travel to client meetings when required.
Experience and Qualifications:
* A minimum of 10 years’ experience working in a sales hunter role selling Collaboration, UC and Services or SaaS in the UK and EMEA markets.
* Experience of longer value outcome driven sales cycles, from 6 months+
* Consultative sales experience with the ability to find creative solutions.
* Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
* Proven experience in sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
