Purchasing/Marketing Administrator
Purpose
To support the Company in all aspects of its day-to-day administrative activities in a timely and professional Liaise, negotiate and purchase/monitor goods and services from external suppliers. Update & maintain company website and marketing pages.
Must have excellent organization skills and remain calm under pressure. Be approachable and sensitive to the needs of the business and people within it, whilst being flexible and responsive to change.
Principal Accountabilities
Duties:
* Oversee and ensure daily orders are produced, warehouse and van are loaded correctly
* Support sales staff, including finding competitive prices and various product information etc..
* Liaise with Suppliers for product information and prices for order placing
* Place and verify all external orders and ensure they are received in a timely manner, whilst reporting damages, shortages and or chasing if not received
* Input incoming checked delivery notes onto the system
* Monitor and Track performance data and Sales Reports
* Collate, publish and Send out Monthly Offers.
* Update website and all other marketing pages on a weekly basis or sooner if needed
* Handling sensitive information in a confidential manner
* Develop and update administrative systems to make them more efficient
* Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements; calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques etc.…
* Provides information by answering questions and requests
* Oversee and supervise when required the work of staff in absence of management.
* Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, laminating, scanning
Qualifications
Essential: 5 G.C.S.E’s including English & Mathematics, NVQ Level 2 in Administration, Customer Service and/or Marketing
Knowledge/Experience Required:
Essential: Excellent Computer skills i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel
Experience of working in a Senior Administrative Role/Purchasing/Marketing
Desirable: Supervisory Experience
