Summary
The Project Coordinator (PC) at Iron Mountain is responsible for coordinating activities, resources, costs, and information, and alerting the Program Manager to unresolved issues.
* The PC reports to a Project or Program Manager and manages all operations involved in completing one or multiple projects within a program.
* The PC must:
* Follow the PRINCE 2 Delivery Framework.
* Be adaptable, versatile, and skilled in:
* Multitasking
* Organizing administrative duties
* Teamwork
* Working under tight deadlines
* Facilitating project focus on objectives
The primary role of a PC is to ensure smooth project and process operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Managing a workstream within a project, akin to managing a mini-project, including:
* Creating a subsidiary project schedule
* Creating and managing updates in Smartsheet
* Organizing project files and sites
* Monitoring project budgets, scheduling meetings, and preparing presentations
* Overseeing project team activities
Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Additional Tasks
* Disseminating project information to stakeholders
* Developing and maintaining project deliverables under the PM or PC's guidance
* Taking notes during meetings
* Preparing reports, presentations, and agendas
* Responding to stakeholder inquiries
* Assisting in defining project scope and developing the Statement of Work (SOW)
* Supporting the development and approval of the Project Plan (Charter)
* Alerting the Project Manager to out-of-scope activities
* Assisting with financial updates and forecasts
* Participating in resource forecasting and planning
