TEAM
As a key member of the Investment Finance team, which sits in Financial Planning & Analysis, this role will report to the Senior Finance Manager responsible for IT, Data & Change (ITD&C) and E-Commerce. The team’s key objective is business partnering with the ITD&C function (including the easyJet Airline change portfolio) and the E-Commerce team.
This role will support the IT Leadership Team (ITDLT) and IT function, offering exposure to senior stakeholders and covering a large, complicated, and varied function where there is scope to provide strategic insight and true value add. The Finance Manager will work closely with senior members of non-finance teams to support the delivery of multiple priorities and collaborate with the wider Finance team for monthly management reporting, regular reforecasting, and quarterly external reporting regarding the ITD&C finances.
JOB PURPOSE
1. Provide effective analytical support to the Senior Finance Manager ITD&C.
2. Create certainty and confidence in numbers delivered to both Finance and the IT Function.
3. Provide insight on key cost drivers, working with the function with a continuous focus on cost control.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
Business Partnering / FP&A
1. Provide a true business partner framework to the ITD&C function, ensuring that business owners are supported with the right insight and information at all times.
2. Accurately forecast future performance (monthly PBT and annual planning processes), understand differences between actuals and forecasts, undertake related analysis, and ensure risks and opportunities for each function are owned and managed.
3. Maintain a continuous focus on cost, FinOps, and other opportunities to achieve the 5-year strategic plan spend target.
4. Business partner IT projects, ensuring projects are delivered within budget, with regular updates on benefit forecasts.
5. Responsible for the end-to-end project forecasting and reporting process.
People Leadership, Relationships and Influence
1. Co-ordinate inputs from cost centre owners across the function and manage them to ensure deadlines are adhered to.
2. Maintain effective cross-functional relationships.
3. Provide subject matter expertise to a diverse and demanding set of stakeholders.
4. Identify opportunities for deep dive processes and support with analysis and strategic input.
5. Work with and mentor junior members of the team.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS & FINANCIAL TARGETS
1. Monthly reporting and underlying processes are delivered within deadlines.
2. Month-end budget variance analysis is consolidated accurately.
3. Deliver key insight on IT costs for AMB/PLC reporting.
4. Preparation and leadership on the 5-year strategic plan and Budget for ITD&C.
5. Support delivery of cost initiatives for ITD&C function, providing analysis and monitoring.

LOCATION & HOURS OF WORK
This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week.
