We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Traffic Management professional to join our team at the Nottingham depot (NG105ND).
This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the leading infrastructure services and engineering companies in the UK, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient management of traffic on our projects.
The standard hours of work are 45 hours across 5 days.
You will be responsible for:
* Develop and implement traffic management plans to ensure the safety of road users and site personnel.
* Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, and local authorities to manage traffic flows efficiently.
* Conduct site inspections to assess traffic management needs and compliance with regulations.
* Supervise and direct on-site traffic management teams, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
* Prepare and maintain accurate documentation related to traffic management activities.
* Respond promptly to any traffic-related incidents or issues, providing effective solutions.
We want to hear from you if you have:
* Proven experience in traffic management, preferably within the construction or infrastructure sector.
* Strong knowledge of traffic management regulations and best practices.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various project sites as needed.
* Relevant qualifications in traffic management (e.g., Lantra, NHSS).
