Company & Project: A leading Regional Main Contractor operating in multiple sectors locally including Education, Defence, Healthcare, and Commercial, are seeking to recruit a talented Assistant Contracts/Project Manager to complement their operations team working across both Pre-Construction and within the on-site delivery team.
The client has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant to join the business, shadowing an experienced Senior Project Manager initially and working across all of the RIBA design stages, on projects between £1m-£10m in value.
Duties & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will take responsibility for assisting with contract administration, programming, supervising subcontractors and suppliers along with supporting and leading on-site teams. The candidate should have some knowledge of practical construction methodology.
Desirable Experience:
1. Minimum 2 years+ experience within the construction industry.
2. Good technical knowledge.
3. Experience working for a Main Contractor would be advantageous.
Previous Roles: Apprentice Site Manager, Assistant Site Manager, Assistant Design Manager, Assistant Contracts Manager, Graduate Site Manager, Graduate Project Manager, Graduate Design Manager, Trainee Civil Engineer, Trainee Site Manager.
Qualifications & Skills: Degree in Construction Management/Architecture/Engineering or comparable qualification e.g. HNC/HND/BTEC/NV/T-Level.
