Monday to Saturday
Working Hours: Flexible shifts from Tuesday to Saturday, with optional Monday shifts available.
Start times between 06:00 and 07:00 AM.
Hourly Rate: £12.21 per hour - £18.82 per hour, based on experience and shift length.
Shift Length: You will be working between 8 to 12 hours a day, depending on your availability and whether you choose part-time or full-time hours.
Key Responsibilities:
1. As a Driver's Mate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth, efficient deliveries. Your tasks will include:
2. Unloading goods upon arrival at the delivery location.
3. Assisting with the safe storage or retrieval of stock.
4. Directing the driver to the next delivery site to ensure an efficient route.
5. Ensuring all deliveries are handled with the highest level of care and attention to detail.
What We're Looking For:
1. Experience: While previous experience as a Driver's Mate is an advantage, it is not essential. We provide full training to ensure you're fully equipped for the job.
2. Physical Fitness: You will be required to lift and move heavy items, so a good level of physical fitness is important.
3. Health & Safety Awareness: A good understanding of health and safety practices is essential to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and the team.
4. Reliability & Teamwork: As you will be working closely with drivers and other team members, reliability and good communication skills are a must.
