One of my local government clients are currently recruiting an experienced Business Support Officer on a temporary basis. This is a 3-month minimum contract with the possibility of the role being extended further to work Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Hybrid working role were, however, you will be required to attend the office 2/3 times a week.
Overview:
* This role is to deliver a comprehensive business support service for Adults and Children’s Social Care, including support of business and social care processes, customer facing support, statutory, formal and multi-agency protection, organising and minuting safeguarding meetings in accordance to Sutton’s Child and Adult Protection Procedures, Social Care complaints, Subject Access Requests and recruitment.
Responsibilities/Duties:
* Report to Senior, Team Leader or Team Manager.
* Co-ordinate meetings and Minute taking.
* Ensure statutory requirements and time scales are met.
* Understand personal responsibility with regard to confidentiality, data protection and information governance.
* Updating and maintenance of data.
* Provide customer service and customer facing contact with clients.
* Processing referrals and applications.
* Action correspondence, emails, phone calls.
* Support the management of client relationships and expectations.
* Contribute to continual service review and development.
* Ensure attendance and constructive participation in supervisions appraisals and team meetings in line with Council standards.
* Complete mandatory e-learning and training.
