Role Overview: Growpime Consulting is recruiting a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager on behalf of our client to drive group bookings and boost guest acquisition within their UK hostel operations. The successful candidate will develop strategic sales plans, foster client relationships, and identify new market opportunities in the budget accommodation sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to maximize hostel occupancy and group bookings.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring repeat business from backpackers, groups, and long-stay guests.
* Analyze market trends and identify new opportunities within the hostel and budget accommodation market.
* Work collaboratively with operations and marketing teams to enhance customer satisfaction and streamline booking processes.
* Represent the client's brand at industry events, travel fairs, and networking opportunities to increase market visibility.
* Manage negotiations and contractual agreements with travel agencies, corporate accounts, and group leaders, balancing customer satisfaction and profitability.
* Handle inquiries, quotations, and maintain an updated client database.
️ Requirements:
* At least 2 years of experience in sales within hostels, budget accommodations, or related hospitality sectors.
* Educational background in Business, Tourism, or Hospitality is highly preferred.
* Demonstrated expertise with group bookings and familiarity with international hostel guest preferences.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
* Proficiency with standard office software and experience with hostel booking systems.
* Fluent in English (written and verbal); additional language skills are beneficial.
* Availability to travel for business development and promotional purposes.
* Passion for hospitality and a commitment to personal and professional growth.
