Locum Opportunity! Locum Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician required ASAP – NHS Hospital – South Wales Location
Location: South Wales - NHS Hospital
Contract: 3-6 Months length (ASAP start)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (30-minute lunch break)
Pay: £19 - £25 per hour via Umbrella
Free Parking: Available on site
We are currently seeking a dedicated Locum Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician to join our client, a well-established NHS hospital in South Wales. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional to contribute to the efficient management of medicines across various acute wards of the Trust.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide medicines management support to the acute wards.
2. Assist in the safe and effective use of medicines.
3. Support clinical staff with the procurement, distribution, and documentation of medications.
4. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
5. Conduct audits and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
Requirements:
1. Qualified Pharmacy Technician with experience in medicines management.
2. GPHC registered.
3. Previous experience in an NHS setting is desirable.
4. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
