The types of works they are famous for range from groundworks, RC structures, major earthworks, deep drainage, marine works, and piling. They have a geotechnical division within the business and they specialise in ground engineering and piling in particular. They have been trading for over 60 years and work on some of the most technically challenging projects in the UK. About the role They are looking for a Sub Agent to join the team due to winning further projects. This site is on the Davenport Navel Base and this will be a geotechnical role looking after piling packages and dealing with rock faults. If you have drilling experience that would. Other projects will include railway works, soil stabilisation on CP6 for Network Rail, piling projects, grouting on TransPennine routes, ground anchors, retaining walls, ground investigation and monitoring. This role will involve travelling to sites so you will need to have a driving licence. It is to be based on a project in Plymouth initially but there are other projects all over the UK that you will have exposure to. You will be reporting into the principal engineer and you would be in an environment where you will be able to learn and grow. Requirements To be considered for this position, you should have experience working as a senior engineer for a UK-based major infrastructure contractor. Your work history should be stable, having worked at your previous companies for a number of years. HND/HNC in Civil Engineering or other technically-related subject Minimum 3 years’ experience as a piling engineer with an understanding of Civil Engineering. Minimum 3 years’ on-site experience within a piling and geotechnical organisation Proven financial and commercial management skills Good working knowledge of CESMM, HWMM, SMM7 Good working knowledge of NEC forms of Contract This opportunity is a permanent position
