Our Stockport team consists of over 350 adidas employees, working across, Brand, Sports Marketing, Marketing Activations, Visual Merchandising, Sales, Account Operations, Finance, HR & many more. What you’ll do…. Drive profitable and sustainable market share growth within JD Group across all targeted categories (Apparel) while respecting the adidas Group brand image with a special focus on operations efficiencies across JD Apparel You will represent the assigned account(s) and category(s) internally as an ‘ambassador’ towards all functions and vice versa and help manage all interfaces. You will need to understand JD Group and categories and document this by Account Fact Books. You will need to support the development of account strategies, formalising them by Strategic Account Plans and get sign-off by the direct superior. You will perform sell-ins and agree on sell-out support and formalise this by Account Marketing Plans jointly with the Director of the CTC and Sales for the account as well as monitor sell-out and the order book continuously and ensure reliable and cost efficient supply for the account. In addition to the above there would be a significant focus on operation topics in this role for the entire JD Group with senior stake holder exposure both internally and externally. Focus would be intake, availability and efficiencies. In addition to the above the below would be key responsibilities To support negotiation and enforcement of adidas Group trade terms To measure progress on own KPIs To report to all superiors along established guidelines (SKAM standard reports) To monitor and report on customers and competitors activities and propose/initiate/take actions To provide realistic plans and forecasts on customer performance To ensure customer compliance with agreements Provide regular feedback and monitor all International budgets to the EBG team Align initiatives within your channel across other EKA’s in order to share best practice and drive additional business opportunities Skills you’ll need… We are looking for proven experience in Planning, Selling and Negotiating, strong communication skills: written, oral and presentation. An excellent industry knowledge across apparel along with a strong cross functional experience across marketing, sales and some experience/interactions of account operations with a clear experience managing projects to improve operational efficiencies. An in depth understanding of local markets’ consumers, accounts, economic environment and commercial needs as well as a strong strategic mindset with the ability to develop and implement strategy.
