The Role
The LLP would be interested in hearing from applicants who have worked in Employment Law. The ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate their organisational skills, meet deadlines and work well under pressure in a team environment, whilst managing client expectation.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and ensure maintenance of work and fee income targets
* Report on performance
* Liaise with clients both in person or remote meetings and in telephone discussions
* Receiving and issuing correspondence / mail from / to the client, agents on behalf of the client and third parties
* Time recording all work undertaken
* Attending on outside appointments to include court hearings, client visits etc. as required
* Areas of work to include Employment and general Advice
* Acting on instruction of and reporting to Head of Employment and Head of Business Services
* Generate new work for department and firm
* Attendance at required training courses
* Supporting the Firm with brand awareness activities, including networking, events and content for the website and social media channels.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Qualified Solicitor
* Adherence to Quality and Work Management Systems
* Achievement of Targets
* Development of departmental staff
* To maintain Lexcel accreditation including completion of file reviews and CAR's
* Flexibility in support of other members of staff
