Opportunity open to existing academic Grade 9 / Grade 10 staff within the School of History, Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Cultures only.
Working with the School Leadership Team, you will lead on the delivery of the School’s academic plan and objectives and provide leadership to the staff in the School. You will be an active member of the University’s Leadership Forum and of the Faculty Executive Committee of the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Cultures promoting a coordinated approach to delivering innovative strategic academic development. You will lead with a clear vision, engaging others across the School, Faculty and University.
The role has a workload remission of 0.8 FTE, although this may be reviewed on appointment. If particular circumstances dictate, we may change the percentage. The post is available from 1 February 2026 to 31 July 2026.
