VANRATH are delighted to be assisting a Major client that requires an Head of Operations for their Retail packing facility based in Omagh Co. Tyrone. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established food processing Company in the UK and Ireland.
Salary - £45,000 - £55,000 (Fully negotiable Depending on experience)
Hours - Day Shift - Mon-Fri-07:00-17:00
The successful candidate will report directly to the General Manager, coordinating with Shift Managers, Supervisors, Line Leaders, Technical and the Hygiene team to oversee the day-to-day running of the facility to ensure the on-time delivery of a premium product.
We are looking for candidates who thrive in a fast paced, pressurised environment. Working to exacting specifications and targets, getting the best out of both people and equipment within the facility.
Essential Criteria:
1. Previous experience of co-ordinating / managing a team within a similar production environment.
2. Working knowledge of red meat products.
3. Effective communication skills.
4. Ability to work in a pressurised environment.
5. Target driven with the ability to work within set time constraints.
6. A keen eye for detail and organisational skills.
7. Ability to work on your own initiative.
8. IT literate / Lean practices.
Desirable Criteria:
9. Previous experience of working in a retail packing environment.
